The Art Circle

Come and get creative in our friendly art group. Whether you want to experiment with paints, sketch with pencils, or try something completely new, this session is the perfect place to express yourself.  Some materials are available and guidance is there if you’d like it, but you’re also free to work on your own ideas at your own pace. Open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced artists.

Mondays 1:30 – 4:00pm Room 1

Mind Games

Put your brain to the test and enjoy an afternoon of classic and modern group games. From Triominoes to Scrabble, each session offers a fun way to challenge your memory, logic, and problem-solving skills, over a cup of tea or coffee. Whether you’re a keen puzzler or just looking for a friendly social activity, our Mind Games club is a welcoming club for everyone. Many of our members enjoy lunch together in our café beforehand.

Using an Electric Drill

Men's Shed

A welcoming space where people can come together, share skills, and enjoy good company. Whether you’re interested in woodwork, DIY, or simply having a chat over a cuppa, the shed offers a relaxed and supportive environment. It’s a great way to connect with others, build friendships, and take time out for yourself while working on hands-on projects at your own pace. Open to everyone, no previous experience needed.

Bingo

Enjoy a friendly, lively atmosphere as you aim to win a full-house. With a variety of prizes up for grabs and a chance to socialise with fellow bingo enthusiasts, it’s the perfect way to spend your afternoon or evening. 

Wednesdays 1:00 – 4:00pm (game starts at 2pm) in the Sports Hall

Knitting

Knits & Sews

Bring your needles, threads, and creativity! Our friendly sewing and knitting group is a relaxed morning of needlecraft. Whether you’re working on a knitting project, stitching up a sewing creation, or simply want to share ideas and enjoy good company, you’ll find a warm welcome. Swap tips, learn new techniques, and connect with fellow crafters in a cozy, supportive atmosphere. All skill levels are welcome.

Together At Lunch

Join us for a welcoming and relaxed get-together designed especially for those aged 55 and over. The Lunch Club is the perfect place to reconnect with old friends or meet new ones in a friendly, social setting. Take part in a light weekly activity, such as games, quizzes, crafts, or guest talks, followed by a freshly prepared warm lunch. With plenty of time for good conversation and laughter, the club offers a chance to feel part of a supportive community while sharing a meal together.
